Script Modding
is surely the easiest way to start working with scripts in
LSL or any other scripting language. You don't start by reading
technical stuff.
You start by working with a real script. A script that is already running correctly. You make small changes and test frequently. You are never far from a working script. You always know what you did to produce an error. You always know how to undo the error. |

Scripts for your modding pleasure You can probably copy these scripts, code blocks, or code lines into a new script in a Second Life object. Alternatively, you can find objects (at Thinkerer Studios) that contain the scripts and are free to copy. |
When you modify a script, you will find it helpful to save after nearly every change. The system will analyze at that point and report syntax errors. If you have made only a few changes, you know where to look for the errors. |
