Prim Properties

Many things that you set in a script become properties of the prim and will continue if you remove the script.  For some things, such as position and color, that outcome is what you expect.

In other cases, as with smooth rotation and particles, you may be surprised to see the prim continue to execute the script after you deleted it.  Furthermore, if you duplicate the object, the duplicate will also execute the script.

If you want the script execution to stop, you have two options>

1.  Put in a program that actively turns off the execution.

2.  Make a new prim.  And treat all scripted prims as contaminated by the properties imposed by the script.
