Leonardo used taper to make the object into a pyramid. Then he used twist to make it spiral.

 To resize the cone, Leonardo pressed crtl+shift and clicked on one of the white boxes that appeared.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Leonardo adjusted the size by sliding the box down the white line. 

This adjustment proportionately resizes all parts of the object, even when it is mae of several prims.
