To get help from the Hobo Helpers, join the group and ask for help in group chat.
Anyone can join. No cost. No obligation.
Ask for help wherever you are, whenever you want help.
Ask questions. Ask for things you want -- clothes, textures, vehicles. There will probably be experienced residents online to help you.
Leave when you don't need help. Unless you want to stick around to help other people.

Search (top right) > Groups tab >
Find: Hobo Helpers (Type in search bar)
Press Enter
If you don't see the name Hobo Helpers, click on group tab at top.
When you see the name, click on it.
On Profile, click Join (upper right)

The kit carries notecards with information, landmarks, a newcomer welcome kit, and other useful things. They are embedded in a notecard that serves as a table of contents. You click on an embedded notecard to get detailed information.
The starter kit caries content selected for people who will initially use Second Life as a communication and networking tool. This set is particularly suitable as a starter for objectives such as business, education, entertainment, writing, and the like.
The starter kit also carries intermediate and advanced kits in case you later want more information.
