| Real Life Bio. Stephen A. Schrum is Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, where he teaches theatre courses, directs the campus theatre productions, and advises the Interdisciplinary Arts majors' theatre capstone projects. A few years back he edited a volume of essays entitled "Theatre in Cyberspace: Issues of Teaching, Acting, and Directing," and has long been interested in virtual performance. Steve continues to present on the topic at the annual Association of Theatre in Higher Education conference, and recently presented "A Taxonomy of Digital Performance." | |
| Second Life Bio. Phorkyad Acropolis operates Faust's Study, a shop offering the two SL resident poetry anthologies, THE ABSENCE OF SHADOWS and IMAGINING DESIRE, alongside Phorkyad's anthology, THE FUTURE'S PASSED. In June of 2007, Phorkyad directed a one-act play, THE PERM, by Zayante Hegel, and also presented at the August NMC Symposium on Creativity. His current project is the construction of a Greek theatre, culminating in a production of Euripides' THE BACCHAE in 2008 |
