We make connections.  We help you remember things.  We make new ideas by connecting old ideas.  But you have to give us time.  We can go back to things you haven’t thought of for years.  But not in ten seconds.  Maybe in ten minutes.  Maybe in ten hours.  Maybe overnight.  Don’t complain.  We don’t charge for overnight delivery.  That’s a better deal than you can get from the Post Office.

Sometimes you have to cut us a little slack.  We can’t always come up with the idea you want on the first try.  So when we come up with a connection, don’t just flip it off because you don’t see how to use it.  It may be a stop on the road to what you were looking for.  Write it down.  And wonder why that idea popped into your head.  Chances are, you will see why after you sleep on it.
