IdagramsIdagrams are anagrams for ideas. Go back to what you wrote in working with the Quick Solve Clipit or the Idea Clipit. Look over your descriptions of the problem and what you are going to do about it. Write about fifteen key words from those descriptions on separate pieces of paper or cards. Now imagine that your Tooth Fairy has offered to help you. But to start the magic, you must shake up things. (Ridiculous rituals are a necessary part of any magical operation.) |

Idagram ritual: Key words on cards Shuffle the cards. Describe the problem aloud. Talk about each of the cards in order. Explain the connection between each of the key words and the one that follows it. Do it with the utmost sincerity, conviction, and dignity. Give your description aloud, in front of a mirror, with a straight face. |

Your performance will probably turn on some parts of your brain that are just resting. They may drop a few ideas on you. Even if it doesn't help, it's good for a laugh. In the here and now, ideas go farther than magic wands. |
Secrets of the
Explorer Put several of those key words into a search service. Look at several pages. Not just the first several. |
