Resident artist program
Beginning artists need space to work and to display their work.  A common practice in RL galleries is a resident artist program.  A gallery provides work and display space for an artist.  In turn, the artist may work in view of visitors and interact with them, thus expanding the experience of visitors.
Resident artists
Artists interested in a Resident Artist position at a gallery should contact the gallery for details.

Galleries wanting a listing here: Send note card to Thinkerer Melville in SL.  Give name of gallery, contact person, major publicity themes of the gallery, and LM.  I will not include other details. Be sure that the LM leads to a place that a visitor would recognize as the entrance to an art gallery.  Partly developed galleries may be included.  People with undeveloped galleries should wait until they have a recognizable gallery before sending a note card.

Artists will not expect to pay rent for space/prims made available through the resident artists program.

Please do not send me huds or objects that I have to rez.  They are too much trouble.  I will set them aside until I get around to fooling with them.
