Production plans

Editors contact Thinkerer Melville to propose a content series.  A content series consists of multiple episodes having a consistent theme and an continuing name that fits the theme.  Editors will produce and record their own content.  Technical help for is available in the Tech help page.  Editors will send their mp3 files to Jwheels Carver via ftp.    A good ftp program is Filezilla (free download).  (Thinkerer will provide editors with the necessary ID information to access the server.)
Jwheels will check the sound quality, adjust the volume as needed, and put an audio wrapper on the file.  The audio wrapper will consist of intro and outro identifying the content with Cookie and Thinkerer Studios and pointing the listener back to thinkerer.org for more content or information about putting ads in future content or licensing it.  These pages point people to Jwheels for details on such commercial use.

When the content is ready, Jwheels will send it to Thinkerer to be posted for download on one of the pages in this section.  Editors may provide text content to go with the download button for the file.

Objective

The objective of this project is to showcase creative voiced products from Second Life.   The products will include voiced poems, prose, dialogs, and plays.  Some may be about Second Life, but most will treat Second Life as a tool for organizing and producing cooperative products.

We believe that some of these products will be suitable as content for web radio and podcasts.  The products offered in this venue may be freely used, as long as the credits voiced along with the content are included in the use.  All of these products are suitable for extension into a lengthy series.   We invite webcasters and podcasters to use the present offerings in their presentations and to consider whether they want to subscribe to future products in a series on a paid basis.
